It’s a proud day for us as four of our regulars swept the 5th Grade Students of the Month! Congratulations to Maya, Keianu, Jack, and Zander (pictured here).
Every month the school honors a student of the month in each classroom at the monthly school assembly. There are four classes per grade. When the principal got to the 5th Grade, these great kids were called (4 out of 108 5th Graders!), all of which are regular students and practitioners with ParkourClasses.
It goes to show that the lessons learned and the skills, methods, and mindsets that are developed in the training we do in Parkour can have a positive effect in other areas of our lives including academics. Of course it helps when there are good parents and coaches helping to guide us too. 🙂
